A Decade of Iron and Steel in Canada
THE state of development of its iron and steel industries serves as a leading index to the general condition of a nation's business affairs. In this paper, the authors present an economic study of the progress of this group of industries in Canada for the decade 1927-1936. The statistical data and most of the tables which accompany this article have been compiled by John Casey, Statistician, Bureau of Mines; the text and some of the computations have been prepared by the senior author.
