IT is practically fifteen years since stellite was first introduced into industry, and since then the progress made in its manufacture has been so rapid and the number of successful applications so varied that it was considered a review of the more important phases would be of general interest. Stellite is a cobalt-chromium-tungsten alloy, containing approximately 2. 75 per cent carbon.
