The Natural Resources of the Hudson Bay Basin

CIM Bulletin, 1928

A FEW days ago, while reading a report of the late Dr. Robert Bell in preparation for this afternoon's meeting, I found some impressive figures concerning the magnitude of the Hudson Bay basin. From the waters of the Bay itself, this great territory extends eastward 500 miles, westward l,300 miles to the Rocky mountains, and southward to the source of the Red river.
