THE USE of the Driessen cone as a heavy-media concentrator involves a mineral dressing process in which many variables inherent in the ore and in the process may have an effect on the efficiency -0£ mineral separation and the operation of the cone. The magnitude of these effects and their possible inter- relationships must be known before a full-scale plant can be designed and built.
