W orld Reserves of Lead and Zinc
OUR INTEREST in estimates of world reserves of lead and zinc is focussed mainly on the information they give about the sufficiency of metal supplies for the future. However, we soon realize that the estimates can be interpreted in several different ways. Accordingly, it is necessary to have some understanding of the elements represented by a compilation of world reserves, and we will start by examining the accuracy of the estimates and what they attempt to measure.
