A Technical Investigation of Northern Ontario Lignite
IN the early part of 1930 the Ontario Research Foundation was asked by the Minister of Mines, the Hon. Charles McCrea, K.C., M.P.P., to undertake a technical and economic investigation of the Northern Ontario lignite deposit. This investigation has been under way since June, 1930, and has necessitated considerable work at the deposit, in the laboratories of the Foundation, and at test plants in Europe.
