Air Transportation for the Canadian Mineral Industry

CIM Bulletin, 1956

CONSIDERING the nature of this audience, I perhaps, in addressing you on the subject of air transportation as related to the mining industry, should speak with tongue in cheek or at least with some reservation. I know full well that many of you, veterans in the great mineral development in Canada, are perhaps more conversant with the overall aviation picture than I , for aviation to you has been the means to an end, and in many instances has been part and parcel in the success of your particular projects, in the form of the initial means of transport.
