Deploying Smart IoT to support the performance of your Digital Mine.

Like any networks, mining wireless networks have a finite capacity. As more data is collected from the fleet and connected in real time, the mine’s wireless network performance may struggle to keep up.   The ability to not only access the data, but to provide some capability for managed store and forward of data, some truly smart Quality of Service, and even enabling edge computing through an open computing device helps address these issues. We call that ‘Smart IoT’. In this presentation, we will discuss how being Smart with your IoT allows scalability, and access to the required data.  We will look at the example of a Fleet Management System and the impact of traditional IoT traffic vs smart IoT traffic.
