Properties of Some High Aluminum Zinc Base Die Casting Alloys

THE ZINC-BASE die casting alloys in common usage contain approximately 4 per cent aluminum as the major alloy element. In addition, they contain about 0.05 per cent Mg .and may• have a small amount of copper. These are usually the only elements intentionally present.
