The Polaris-Taku Mine, Tulsequah, B.C. Geology and Development
THE Polaris-Taku mine is a new gold property, situated in the far northwest corner of British Columbia. Production was started in November, 1937, at the rate of 150 tons a day, and recently has been increased to 200 tons. The property, which promises to become one of British Columbia's important gold mines, was developed and brought into production in twenty-nine months after work was started on it as a virtual prospect in June, 1935, by Edward C. Congdon and associates.
