CIM Bulletin, Vol. 70, No. 777, 1977
George Wilkinson, Manager, Utility Sales, Westinghouse Canada Limited, Hamilton, Ontario
The consistent relationship between the availability of electrical energy and our economic well-being is well known. As we develop the energy we need to nurture industrial civilization in decades ahead, we will at the same time reduce our reliance on dwindling supplies of oil and gas. Coal and uranium will be developed as our major fuel sources to meet medium-term energy needs, followed by fusion and solar energy for the long term.
