Planning for coal beneficiation in the electric utility industry is relatively complex, involving the coordination of experts and specialists in a broad range of fields, as well as compliance with a wide variety of government regulations.
This paper examines the role of the planner, reviews possible benefits of coal beneficiation, identifies potential problems and illustrates a typical planning schedule.
