Addendum' to Fine Grinding Investigations at Lake Shore Mines

This is in direct contradiction to the generally accepted philosophy of tube-mill grinding, which is based upon an enormous amount of experiment carried on in different parts of the world. Personally, I have no faith in the reliability of these conclusions of the authors. (Incidentally, the two circuits compared consist of six mills each of which the change in the hook-up is only in the last three mills- in one case, these three mills are in closed circuit and in the other, open or series circuit.
