This paper begins by describing the parameters of high-speed underground tracked drifting operations and the mucking cycle, and discusses their variations. The railbound Haggloader 8HR is then described, as well as the Hagglund shuttle trains, outlining the advantages and disadvantages of the system. A comparison with conventional mucking operations is then given.
