Hydraulic Pilot-Plant Hoisting and the Investigation of the Pipeline of Crushed Transport Magnetite

CIM Bulletin, 1966

P. Kostuik

Recent interest in the pipeline transport of solid materials has been sparked by the idea that, in an inflationary economy, pipeline costs are more stable than the costs of any other transport systems. Pipelines have proved over 1e years to be dependable, records indicate that maintenance and operating costs are comparatively low, and their amenability to automation is of considerable importance.
