Gulf Minerals (Canada) Limited's Rabbit Lake uranium operation is located in the northern portion of Saskatchewan, 198 miles southeast of Uranium City and 134 miles northwest of Lynn Lake, Manitoba. The paper follows the ore flow through crushing, grinding, sulphuric acid leaching, counter-current decantation, solvent extraction, ammonium diuranate precipitation, thickening, drying and tailing neutralization.
